ROOTED IN FAITH
Care shaped by Christian values.
At WOVE, our approach to care is shaped by our Christian faith. We believe that every mother is uniquely created and deeply valued, and that pregnancy, birth and the transition into parenthood deserve to be met with dignity, compassion and thoughtful care.
Our education and support are evidence-informed, drawing on current research, established maternity guidance and our understanding of the physiology of pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Alongside this, we recognise the generations of knowledge held and passed down by those who have supported women through birth long before modern maternity care existed.
Faith and evidence are not competing ideas within WOVE. Our faith shapes how we serve; evidence, education and responsible practice shape the information and support we provide. We do not incorporate spiritual or alternative practices that conflict with our Christian foundation.
WOVE is proudly Christian, but our care is open to every family. You do not need to share our faith to be supported here. Your beliefs, choices and individual circumstances will always be treated with dignity and respect.
"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
John 14:18
